  • We have achieved all our fundraising goals for the year.  We expect the best ever event with the many activities at iT'z.  We will have over $15,000 in prizes for the seniors!

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered.  The volunteer list is complete except for just a couple second shift Blackjack dealers.  If you are not on the list linked above, you will not be allowed to stay in the facility after 11:45.  Please e mail me at grantcarolynm@yahoo.com  with any questions regarding the volunteer list.

Attire:  Casino volunteers--please wear black pants and a white shirt.  Vests, bow ties, or any other "dealer" attire is welcomed.  Everyone else should plan on wearing a Project Prom t-shirt.  These shirts are so that we are readily identifiable to the students and the iT'z staff.  The shirts are available for $10 from Marcy Moran mmoran@esc4.net  If this creates a hardship, plan on wearing a JVHS T-shirt.

First shift:  Please plan on arriving early to help set up your respective areas, get trained, and to help decorate the common areas.  We need many hands.  I'd like everyone to arrive at 10:00, but certainly no later than 11:00.  Please check in to get your wrist band at the parent registration desk.  Volunteers on the first shift, may stay for the second shift, if volunteers are needed in your area.  We expect most areas will be busiest during the second shift.  Doors open at 12.

Second Shift:  Please arrive slightly before your scheduled time for training.  Please check in at the front desk to get your wrist band and  try to find the Chairperson/leader for your area.  They will get you trained and make sure those that need to leave are able to do so in a timely manner.

The game room and Casino will begin to shut down by about 4:30.  Other areas will stop shortly thereafter.  We will be gathering the kids in the casino area for the announcements of the nights competitive winners and the gift certificate prizes.  I'd like the 2nd shift volunteers to help shut down their respective areas, and begin the clean-up process.  Junior parents will be arriving at 5:00 to take over the clean-up process, but we need to get all decorations out of the facility as quickly as possible.  iT'z needs to prepare for normal business hours that day.

  • $20.10 Project
Each year the Senior class asks their parents to contribute a donation to Project Prom equal to their Class Year. This year it is $20.10 if paid by January 30, 2010.  After this date the cost increases to $30.00

If every parent contributed this amount, the Senior Class could cut back on all their other fundraisers. If you cannot afford this $20.10 at one time, send in what you can afford, as every little bit will help. Remember all this money goes towards Project Prom and is fully tax-deductible.
